Helmets - Everyone must wear one! It is preferred that each student purchase their own proper helmet for proper fit and hygiene.

No sneakers! No open toed shoes of any kind.

English riding breeches (1/2 inch heel) should be worn once you begin to trot. However, you may wear jeans and half chaps if you prefer.

Boots - Use of boots is recommended for equestrian related activities.

Western students may wear jeans and boot with 1/2 inch heel.

Shirts must be tucked in and no baggy clothes are allowed.

Girls - Hair should be in a braid, bun, or ponytail, low on the neck and centered.

Gloves are not required, but in addition to keeping your hands warm in cold weather, they make reins easier to grip and prevent blistering any time of the year.
